Payment
Client payments can be made be made by either cash, credit/debit card, or by bank transfer.
Once we have been formally instructed by a client, half of the estimated fee is required to be paid prior to the commencement of any activity. For short term engagements (less than 7 days) the balance of any fee is payable at the end of the assignment.
For engagement of 7 days and over, any outstanding balance will need to be paid with funds cleared into our account by the close of business each Friday. We will provide updates to our clients on the status of their account as part of our ongoing interim activity reports, along with any amendments required based on agreed changes to our original estimate.
If the investigation concludes early and we have unspent funds belonging to the client then we will return these within 7 days to the client in the same manner in which they were deposited with us.
